Hannah Lopa is 25 years old from Rochester, New York. No stranger to pageantry, she won the title of Miss New York USA after 7 attempts, including 2 as a teen.
Hannah dedicated much of her adolescence to studying various styles of dance and was a competitive dancer throughout her career. She continued her love for dance as a coach and dancer for professional sports teams in the Rochester community.
Upon graduating high school she went on to earn a degree in Communications and Media Arts. During her time in college she was selected from thousands of applicants to participate in the Disney College Program. Her background in dance and performance arts helped her to earn a character performer role at Disney World where she worked closely with the Make A Wish Foundation.
Hannah currently works in the motorsports industry as a sportscaster. She has also been a brand ambassador and spokesmodel representing national and international motorcycle brands. An avid racing fan, she even learned to ride a motorcycle and hopes to one day earn her license.
In her spare time Hannah loves to travel and visited 26 states last year. Hot yoga and hiking are her favorite ways to stay fit!
Throughout her year as Miss New York USA, Hannah hopes to raise awareness on relationship abuse and domestic violence because of the abusive relationship she endured. Competing for the title played a pivotal role in helping her overcome her abusive past. It gave her the opportunity to find herself and regain confidence that was once stifled. She wants to show other women that they do not have to be limited by their circumstances and that they can achieve anything they set out to do.
