Addendum to Pageant Rules of Conduct | Eligibility | MISS NEW YORK USA^® / MISS NEW YORK TEEN USA^®
Pageant rules and regulations: I agree to abide by all the rules of the MISS NEW YORK TEEN USA^® or the MISS NEW YORK USA^® pageant now in effect or as announced from time-to-time hereafter.

• All rehearsals will be closed to the public; contestants and pageant staff only.
• No one (including family & friends) except for Pageant Staff will be allowed in the contestant's rooms, dressing rooms or backstage pageant weekend. You cannot bring in your own Hair & make-up person.
• Smoking, vaping, alcoholic beverages, and non-prescription drugs are not permitted.
• Contestants may NOT enter the hotel's lounge, restaurants, or bar areas at any time pageant weekend.
• Contestants are not allowed to walk alone through the hotel or to wander off from the pageant staff at any time without permission from a chaperone or a member of the pageant staff. If permission is granted, you must walk with another contestant.
• Contestants are not allowed to leave the Hotel without permission.
• Your Pageant Sash or ID/number must be worn at all times.
• Cell phones must be turned off during rehearsals unless given permission by the Producer. There will be breaks throughout the day when you can use your cell phone.
• Our chaperones are pleasant, responsible women, who will help make your pageant experience run smoothly. We trust you will be polite and treat them with respect.
• For your safety and security, please do not use the hotel's stairwells, do not engage in conversations with hotel guests unknown to you, do not open your room door to unknown people, nor enter an occupied elevator if you feel uncomfortable.
• Remember you have been selected as a State Finalist representing New York in the MISS USA^® /MISS TEEN USA^® state pageants. Please conduct yourself accordingly.
• Any misconduct, non-observance of rules or disrespect by a delegate or a delegate’s family/friends may result in immediate dismissal from the pageant, in the sole discretion of the State Directors.

  I agree, if I win or succeed to the title of MISS NEW YORK USA^® or the MISS NEW YORK TEEN USA^®, I will participate in the MISS USA^® and/or Miss TEEN USA^® pageant, as the case may be, and abide by all the rules and regulations governing that pageant. If I win the MISS USA^® pageant, I agree to participate in the MISS UNIVERSE^® pageant and abide by the rules and regulations governing that pageant.  I understand that D & D Investments, Inc. is only responsible for producing the Miss New York USA^® and Miss New York Teen USA^® pageants. I will not hold them liable if the national Miss USA® and Miss Teen USA® pageants do not occur for any reason beyond their control. By my signature below, I, and, with respect to any contestant who is a minor, my parent or guardian, hereby acknowledge that: (i) I have read and agree to be bound by the rules & regulations requirements. I understand and agree that my continued participation is contingent upon my meeting the eligibility requirements above as well as those eligibility requirements set forth in any other documents required by the State Pageant. If selected, I agree to execute any waivers, release agreements and/or entry forms required by the State Pageant.
